Elite Level Team
There may be opportunities where a number of riders will be picked to form a team for elite races in China and around Asia. These riders (the exact number depending on the race and rider availability) will be chosen based on their performance in previous local races (by whom tbc at a later date). The preliminary plan is for the travel/accommodation expenses to be sponsored, but of course this will depend on the availability of such sponsorship.

Race Registration Precedure
** Important changes to race registration for 2010-2011:

In the coming 2010-2011 season, the club will implement the following changes to assist race registration administration:

1. The club will use the “Invitation” in the Google calendar entry system.

This will help provide better information on the event types, cut off dates etc, assist in administration and reduce email spam for parties not involved.

2. The club will set up an Entry fees account for members

In order to make payment of entry fee easier - and less strain on the personal finances of the person handling the entries – we will ask all people racing to pay an up front sum towards entry fees, then top up their ‘account’ as needed during the season. An excel spreadsheet will be available for members to monitor their fund level. This way the club never has to chase people after the event for money, something that is a pain for everyone!
